Conduct time and motion studies to identify inefficiencies in the manufacturing process, develop and implement process improvements to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and ensure quality standard, analyze production data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement.
Design and implement new manufacturing processes and systems, optimize existing processes to increase efficiency and reduce costs, utilize lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Evaluate and optimize production systems, including equipment layout, workflow, and material handling, conduct time and motion studies to determine standard work times and improve operational efficiency, design, and implement ergonomic workstations to enhance employee safety and productivity.
Collect and analyze production data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement, develop metrics and KPIs to monitor process performance and drive decision-making, prepare and present reports on findings and recommendations to management.
Lead and manage process improvement projects from inception to completion, coordinate with various departments, including production, quality, and logistics, to ensure successful project implementation, develop project plans, timelines, and budgets.
Ensure that all processes comply with industry standards and regulatory requirements, collaborate with the quality assurance team to develop and implement quality control procedures, monitor and report on process performance metrics.
Provide training and support to production staff on new processes and procedures, develop and maintain documentation, including work instructions, process flow diagrams, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Complete any other jobs assigned by the Superior from time to time.
Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field, a Master’s degree is a plus.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in process industrial engineering or a similar role within a manufacturing or production environment.
Sound knowledge of Engineering Principles, Lean Manufacturing, 6 Sigma. Data Analysis.
Proficiency in data analysis software and CAD tools, strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
